Edfringe 2010

Kristen Thomson’s iconic one-woman show, I, Claudia will be playing at the Assembly Room’s prestigious Edinburgh Suite, August 6 – 31, presented by the UK’s Theatre Tours International and is produced in Association with Brian Robertson.

Theatre Tours International is the foremost presenter of small to mid scale theatre at the Edinburgh Fringe. Since 1994, they have presented over seventy highly acclaimed productions in seventeen seasons including five of the top ten grossing solo shows of the last two decades. They have also created and co-presented two of most successful dramas of all time at the Fringe; 12 Angry Me (2003) and The Odd Couple (2005) and is the most awarded and nominated independent theatre company currently presenting at the Fringe.

Brian Robertson has been active as a prolific theatrical and television producer.  He has produced or executive produced, 45 theatrical productions and has been responsible for many of Canada’s live, network performing arts specials including the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards (that he created), the Juno Awards and the live, national telecast of the 2002 Golden Jubilee Gala for the Queen and Prince Philip at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto. Additionally, he created, and executive-produced, the “Royal Canadian Air Farce” television series, which was Canada’s most successful comedy series for 15 seasons. In January of 2008, Mr. Robertson produced the internationally-broadcast, Memorial Concert for Oscar Peterson at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto.
